Buckfast – Peak season at our mating station

Dear fellow beekeepers,

The heat is getting to us all. Only our bees seem to be enjoying it. Even those we sent out last week have, almost without exception, made it safely to their recipients despite temperatures of up to 40 degrees.
We’re rather proud of our ladies!!!

At the same time, the mating station is running at full capacity and we’re already placing the next batch of queens in the mating hives so that we can continue to offer high-quality breeding queens well into September.
The final dispatch date this year is 29 September. Perhaps this is a good opportunity for you to order some more queens for requeening?
We’re only offering commercial queens until 18 August.
